Bluebeards Revenge was founded after a bet made following a bit too much rum. The owner had been challenged to find shaving products capable of shaving the most stubborn stubble, but he did not succeed.

That is why he launched his own products in the summer of 2010, called The Bluebeards Revenge. The logo featuring a white skull and crossed white bones, known from the Jolly Roger pirate flag, also helped attract some media attention.
