Triumph & Disaster

This brand is from New Zealand and founded by Dion Nash. From his father’s side he comes from a family of boxers, and from his mother's side he comes from a family of tailors. An interesting combination for sure.

When Dion was young, he received a poem from his father written by Rudyard Kipling. As a rebellious teenager this poem ended up in a drawer pretty quickly, but over twenty years later he found it back by coincidence. He read the line: “if you can meet with Triumph & Disaster and treat those two imposters just the same,” and the idea of the brand Triumph and Disaster was born.

Triumph and Disaster is a brand that combines science with natural ingredients. A great combination when you want to create premium hair and skin products for men.

Triumph & Disaster and Moquer

During the first years of Moquer, the brand Triumph and Disaster was already a part of the products offered in the shop because of the same philosophy has mentioned above. New Zealand has beautiful landscapes and natura, so plenty of natural ingredients to create high quality products for men.

After a few years of absence, we are very happy to welcome Triumph & Disaster back in the Moquer shop again since 2023. It is still a beautifully crafted brand that fits well with our other (mostly American) brands for men.

Triumph and Disaster products

Triumph & Disaster combines the knowledge acquired by science with natural and plant-based ingredients for their products. They select premium ingredients from Australia, Tasmania, Mexico, and New Zealand to produce their products.

So, the products are exceptionally well made and do not contain any parabens, sulphates, or silicones That way you know for sure that you are taking great care of your hair and skin.

We hope to expand the product line of Triumph and Disaster further in the future.
